Order a size larger - it SHRINKS!, November 1, 2011 By This review is from: La Rochelle Antique Medallion California King Bedspread, Ivory (Kitchen) This is a beautiful spread. It fit my Cal King bed perfectly, just off the floor, and enough extra to tuck under pillows easily. However, when I washed it (according to directions - cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low), it shrank up to coverlet size - more than 11". If not removed and handled carefully while dryer is still tumbling, it wrinkles a lot. After much debate I decided to keep it and add a bedskirt, but I would not recommend it if you plan to launder it rather than dry clean.

I KNEW how beautiful it was in the package!!! I wanted it so badly I brought the queen home hoping it would fit...but I have a king bed!!!! DUH !!! Had to have it. So I took the queen back and started researching online. Found a king and all the shams at Amazon!!!! It is gorgeous. I am using it in a beach cottage bedroom!!!! Crisp, clean, and has the look of someone with exquisite taste--ME!!!! I couldn't be happier! It was worth the search.
