It isn't overly thick, or too thin. Just right for a bed quilt. ANd the embroidered planes are even better looking in person. The only possible complaint is that the center panel (cotton) wrinkles, even when you pull it right out of the dryer. But really I know that about cotton, and was sort of expecting it. Overall, still rate 5 stars, because it is well made, beautiful, and the room looks incredible!
